We have one open spot remaining, and we need to fill it so we can adjust our final draft time.

If you'd like to play post in this thread and we will consider you. It's on Yahoo!, typical fantasy football setup. This is our third annual league, many players have been in it since the beginning but this season we were much more selective, taking only players who have been extremely active in other SCD fantasy leagues. Unfortunately for us (But luckily for you) we have 1 spot remaining. Don't bother coming in with a half assed attitude you'll get worked, have some experience (Posting your history [[Screenshots showing your games played/finishing positions]] of your Yahoo! fantasy profile will definitely get you more points if multiple people are being considered for this one spot. I (Or Myself and the 10 other members) will choose the who will fill the final spot on Sunday evening.

What I mean is there's no way the draft date will accomodate 14 people. Someone is going to have something going on every day from now until the season starts. We just have to pick a day that most people can get there for.

Well, in some situations, people obviously get screwed super bad by injuries. Such as when I drafted Shaun Alexander first overall and he was injured or sub-par for a majority of the year.

The skill level in our baseball league isn't very high at all, you were never out of contention.

I've never played before and I'm sitting comfortably in 5th.

The FA pool was ridiculously good, sometimes I could find better batters in FA than the ones I had drafted.

I mean even JD Drew was on waivers...

this is sad too: Shawne Merriman revealed Saturday that his career could be over. In addition to a torn PCL, Merriman has a torn LCL in his left knee.
His knee requires extensive reconstructive surgery. Perhaps Merriman will chance it and play this year, but that would be foolish. His contract is up after the 2009 season and if he has the procedure, Merriman could try continuing his career afterwards. He'd risk more damage by playing on the knee in 2008. baseball is the easiest imo, theres too much out of your control and hard to predict so you just pick good players and play them.

i totally agree. i dont know if rob ryan was misusing players, but it was terrible. and the pressure reminded me of the browns-cowboys game, where there was no pressure on romo.

Yes the D-line needs to step it up, apply the pressure and the asomuga/hall/huff can control those recievers better. i'm suprised the D isn't doing better but I don't think we shoulda traded Brayton, he was good.

I think we should trade Bush for O-Line, i just thought of this right now but I still think it'd be a good idea.

As for the O, run mcfadden/fargas as much as possible, fargas has shown he is a good north/south runner and mcfadden is just a beast and it will open up passing lanes for russell, he can show off that arm and hit walker, curry and lelie. maybe he can get some flow going and we can actually fuckin do good this season!

I wouldn't do that if it were me.....
Roddy white and wes welker are competent WR2's and 3's, while LT and Michael Turner would be two really powerful RB1 and RB2.

Randy moss is also going to have an off year compared to last year, simply because brady isn't playing imo. Patriots will still win, but they should score a lot less.

See, that's what a few of my friends told me. But I read a cuple of articles and talked with my brother and it's a risk for my friend who's taking LT but the payoff is higher for him. THe risk is that Rivers might be the focal of the offense now or LT might reinjure that inflated toe of his. And Sprles playing well in his absence helps things too.

Edit- I should keep Roddy white? I was thinking of dropping him in the FA lol
