Terran vs Zerg strat.

nowadays I think zerg is a much better race against terran. the hydra pump is too good. So.. anyone have ideas of beating a good zerg player ? especially a zerg player that chokes, i tried this choke strat and it's so damn easy for wasting time, and you can build up very quickly. here's my strats vs this

1. racks in the middle. make three racks and by that time, u should have 2 marines and an scv alrdy searched and bunker rush the choke. then the rest should be easier. you can even rush in and get their mineral +bunker
- this strat sucks if you don't know the m/u is tvz from the start. it fucks you up vs single nex zealot pumpers, well it's good if the toss tries to choke + double nex., well i only lost w/ this strat vs single nex z pumpers ~ but i lost a lot.
2. just four racks start + fast gas w/ tanks. this doesnt work all the time.... the hydra flank kills it 50% of the time.
3. fast drop of tanks marines scv's near the main or where the hatcheries are building.
-xG.unit did this to me on the second zvt i had vs him, first i won w/ the choke strat, and second "rvr" game, he dropped and i got fucked, i was surprised, props to his quick learning

well, im talkin about rvr and it turns out to be a tvz situation. of course when it's a fixed match up, it will make things a lot simpler, unlike LT, fastest map for me i gotta know the enemy race in the beginning to decide which strat to go with, or else im just doing the usual strat and i cant do creative things

well even if rvr scout pretty fast and know its tvz i still dont lose, well i havent yet at least not saying i am unbeatable, but i just havent lost yet

well when i did tvz and it ended up being a long game, i usually just went straight to bc/tanks to save me some hard work ^_^ and gg

yes, I love that strat too, not much control needed and it works just as powerful in LT too. you should see WesT)NaDa go battlecruisers on LT. his mucro is so bad he got money to pump BC's w/ 3~4 starports

well the guy went mass zlots with fast zlot speed so the only way i could survive that first attack was to make the 9 sunks i made with hydras behind them ~ not 30+ but okay u can exxagerate if u want :)

well me and nicksson saw each other on east and we played 3 TvZ's the first two games were short with a fast tank and marine push but the third game he finally owned it and turned out to be a long game ~ was about 30 minutes but this was one of the best tvz games ive seen and the best tvz ive played ~ he played a great game so replay three is probably the best to watch -.- gg's nicksson ~ RM anytime u want ~

If they choke pretty hardcore, Ill just go quick drop not necissarly on main but a tank ad some rines in front of the hatches. Usually they are slow getting hydras, and lack sunkesn inside base.

His apm is almost down to normal by 80 seconds into the game so his apm isn't as boosted as you think. Some players do this to help them keep a fast pace throughout the game by moving fast early on. Whether or not it helps their real speed overall is debatable though.

alot of times (maybe this is more for BW than original, not sure), the zerg will choke and go fast air. if they choked off u can usually get through it with mass marines+range. if they were infact going straight air, they will have a higher gas:minerals ratio than normal (for guards) and will not be able to pump ground as fast once the choke is penetrated. i JUST played a game where this worked perfectly but i didnt save..

double rax, and right to tanks. Then tank down the choke from the sides (if you can) while holding him in with rines in front of his choke.

sorry apm is bull shit period, i bet noone hits over 150 legit, i micro like hell with terran vultures and pump like hell and i only hit 90 apm average
