For my 1337th post, I decided to fill all you in on how to make your opponent so fustrated that they almost always have to lose or forfeit.
This strategy is known as mass cannons. The way to start this strategy off is by making a forge close to your main. Then slowly making cannons all over your base. Once you have successfully made a base of mass cannons, wait for your opponent to attack you, and rebuild the cannons.
When the time is right, you expo into another base and make a base to make units. If your opponent has not already left, you just mass 200/200 of a certain unit, and attack. They will be so focused on your profused cannon base, they'll forget about the expo bases.

i think people like you should quit sc. strats like this ruin the game big time.
how is it fun to kill a whole base full of cannons?
thats not playing for fun, its playing for a desparate win. which in itself shows many signs of insecurity about your own skills, and your lack in self belief that you have the potential to beat someone.
il remember you, and never 1v1 you, and i hope that anyone who ever does this strat will be rememebrd for it and no one will 1v1 them, because what a gay fucking game it would be.
why dont you try something new and learn how to play the REAL game.

This would only work vs protoss players, against a zerg or terran you'd be dead before you could get a good expansion going by tank or guardian. And The_playa, Phoenix was voted best toss, don't try to talk like you own him...
What if they scout, take out your expansions early, then own you with 1 (YES 1) reaver.

Easy, you can add some buildings to make units, just for that purpose. ``

it would never work against good players, good players should always have 1 unit or supply at all the other expansions around the map
lol thats why the mass cannon noob also goes mass carrer to kill those noobie noob reavers :)

ummmm ok there was already a thread about mass cannons...why make a new one, and that is pretty obivious, i mean when people do it to me it is gay because it shows you cant actually play the game, just building shit loads of cannons is not skill

Im gonna try this.. except i'll do carriers instead of ground. Storm wont get in, and carriers > all :)

From how phoenix made it sound it was bassically unbeatable....But if u vs a mass cannoner theres always a strat 2 beat it no matter what race...

I remember when iwas all up on the "thers a counter to every strat" theory.
I believe we call those reavers, guards, and tanks. To tank down an entire base would take a long time. 4-5 mins or more depending on the # of tanks u have.

The fact is there is a counter 2 every strat if u dont let ur guard down ive tried cannon whole base strat sometims it works sometimes it doesnt...but if the person im facing is a decent player the'll think about it and beat the shit outta me

The best way to beat this strategy is to leave the game when you scout it.
Bull shit that won't work G00NS wit ups and range will own mass cannons
this strategy is basicly the same as Macmanus' zerg style... MASS SUNKEN, then go guards or whatever he must to win the game... i dont know about u guys, but WHATEVER RACE I AM, i ALWAYS try to end the game asap... who wants a long game? those are gay

Not instant win... instead... it's practically a loss for you.
Since your massing cannons all the way i'm assuming you have very few units.
Zerg = defiler w/ any unit except air..
Terran = seige / Vessel w/ EMP
Protoss = zealot / reaver
easy..
Cannons are mainly for detects/Defence NOT offence..
