Ok you all know all the counters for anti temp drops but here is a ways ways to avoid them.
VS TERRAIN!!!
If you are doing a temp drop on terrain scout for turrets first. Then get a Arbitor and use its abitly to make "clones" of your men. then send them over or infront of the turrets then run to the minarals and storm the workers. This works better if u drop 2 or more High Tempalars.
Vs Protoss!!!
This one is hard because cannons can attack anything but there is a way that i use all the time. Take 3 dropships and fill 2 up with reavers and the other one of as many High Temalars as you want. Then drop the reavers first and this works better after u take out a few cannons to send a reaver and then you can also recall if you want. After the reavers drop and take out some cannons send the dropship with the High Tempalars in it and drop them off and storm as many workers as you can. And he will send all his men to the spot where u Recalled so you you make a good attack and get a storm. And if you want can send your real attack force to the front of base. And the faster you can do these things the faster he will die cause he has to split up his attack force to kill all your men.
Vs Zerg!!
Ill make this easy. Do the same as above but take out spores first so you can use a Reaver to cloak from sunken, but watch out for Overlords!!!

have you actually tested these tactics? b/c youve said several things wrong.
1, arbs dont make "clones", it is templar and they make hallucinations
2, its easiest to temp drop a toss, the canons hitting ground/air actually makes it easier, meaning once you drop a zealot the canons will stop firing at your dropship, or if you dont have time, you can just drop the temp 1st and the canons will continue hitting the dropship giving the temp time to storm. if it was vs teran, you would drop a zealot and the turrets would just continue hitting the dropship
3. temp drops fail when you lose the element of surprise, if you drop reavers 1st that will obviously tip off your opponent to bring dragoons/mutas up to take care of the problem
4. to have 200 psi you would need 25 overlords. that is why its not very effective to use arbs vs zerg, is it a temp drop or a reaver drop?
5. and this is the biggest reason, you didnt even mention hotkeys
here is the fast down and dirty method that i use:
get dropship w/ speed put 1 hotkeyed temp and 3 zealots in it, fly it into opponent base at a point past where you intend to drop it (it slows down before it stops so if you fly past you will arrive there quicker) keep your screen ahead of the dropship, as you see deterrents (canons, units, etc) drop off a zealot (click its wireframe inside of the dropship) the canons/units will target the zealot and the dropship will fly on. continue doing this until you arrive at drop destination, press the wireframe of the templar to drop him off since your dropship will keep going. press the hotkey for your templar, press the letter "t" and then click on the mineral patch. if you do it quick enough you can get the storm off almost instantly, timing is an issue so practice is good. if you dont think your dropship is going to make it far enough, drop the temp 1st and hope you can get the storm off anyway. if your shuttle isnt under attack when you arrive at destination, drop a zealot 1st to distract any ground only defense, and the temp 2nd.
if they have defense @ edges of map, thats when methods require more extravagence, but i figured we should get the basics out of the way before we go that far.

Angel has the same meathod i use. It works almost 100% of the time. Also, whoever originally posted about arbiters making clones should just delete his post. As it is useless info. Also proves he never uses his own tactics and couldnt teach temp dropping at a highschool in compton.

a clear example of why some people should NOT post strategies...as it gets late game and there expecting drop, use more shuttles :)
If its late game...later then say 30 minutes taking minerals is nearly useless unless it has been action for the whole game. If your 30 minuites in and 20 of them have been sitting around doing nothing taking your opponents minerals will do nothing except increase his chances of winning by freeing up more psi.

i disagree. i was deadlocked in a tvz vs this guy who just massed like a crazy biach. after about an half an hour back and forth, i realized i needed a new plan. 2 sets of wraiths and 2 sci vessels, id hit the hive and then irradiate the drones. go head to head some more, attack again finishing his hive and killing drones, he went from about 25k down to 17k, down to 12k, down to 5k, down to 2k. took 20 minutes, but eventually i won because he couldnt fund his pump anymore.
here is rep so u can see. it shows very nice fundamentals of zerg, and some sexay terran as well ^^

Why on Earth would you use reavers for a distraction? They can take minerals just as good as a temp. Just use 1 or the other, you don't need both.

if they have any type of d in back on minerals, then reavers will probly on get 1 scarab away, or if you try to make them hit opp sides, they might die first..cause reavers are SLOW..plus if you take 2 then you have nothing to distract cannons as you come in, and ur shuttle dies..temp drop > reaver drop
cept if its a mass reaver drop, in which case its better
the only true toss strat anymore is cannon rushing/whoring..

I wouldn't quite say that. I've dropped 2 reavers on people at about 5 minutes and its game over. The only key to winning with reaver drop, is building more than those 2 reavers. Have some cannons and zealots around your unbelieveably small and messy base, because they will most likely counter.
I think Affro might agree with me on this. Temp drops are effective, but reavers are quicker to tech up and do more damage in the long run. I've seen Affro win a 2v1 just using 2 reavers and 1 shuttle. He also took both their mains.
Guess it jsut depends on how you play.

The key if your gonna reaver drop is speed. No one has defense at five minutes. I always get the same response when i go reavers and drop at 5 mins. "Holy shit already?!"

ok, reaver drop has more potential for winning, but temp drop has less potential for failing. what i mean is that you can win a game w/ a reaver drop, but you also are alot less likely to get a reaver drop off successfully. temp drops have a much higher rate of success, you only have to get the dropship near the minerals for a second or so, your temp only has to live for a second, and it kills both sides of mins w/ 1 hit, and scarabs can be stopped by spreading scvs, but psi storm cannot be stopped.
but if u fuk it up(like only get one side of mineral, and its the short side), ur stuck with a small, messy base, some zelots, and your oppenet setting for more drops..course, there is the advantage of avoiding stupid people like shadow saying "U STUPID EASTIE WHORE TEMP DROP RUSHING NEWB" and such
It's alot harder to get yourself going again after a 5 minute drop, rather than a fast temp. Takes more skill.

I have never had a 5 minute reaver drop stopped by both opposing players. And even if 1 stops it and i get the other guy. then its 1v1 between my opponent and my partner. And i can help with a few reavers.

-Reavers have a very weak defense so they would die very quickly.
In Pvt just get 2 shuttles .. 2 zeals 2 temps. so fucking easy. You don't need arbitor pfft... come on ppl lets go.
