Hey, i'm just gona list some cool tricks and strategy with zerg
Nydus: 1. ZvP have you nydus at your choke and the exit at your main. This is useful when your opponent is planning to recall or templar drop.
2. ZvZ Nydus in your opponents base can win you matches but it's very hard to do if your opponent is careful. The best time to use it is when they're busy defending or attacking. A good idea is to parasite so you can nydus around their main.
Burrow: Always research this like mid game or early. It can be used in many ways. You can always put a burrowed ling outside the opponents choke to view how many units they have or when they're going to attack. Also burrowing your drones at minerals is really helpful when being dropped. I know sometimes it won't be any use as templars and such can still hit the drones but if they did a mass zerg drop or something it could still be useful.
Burrow Rush: ZvT This is very difficult to do but its effective. Early gas then research burrow. Send your lings in and hit then supply.. basically harrass them and while doing so tech. This won't work if your opponent puts his units at choke.
Anti-Terran: Alot of people say that terran have the advantage over zerg. I don't know what they're talking about because imo all the races are fair. It just depends on the players.
Anyway the most important thing you need in ZvT is time. Most terran players will build up a group of marines and tanks and tank push you. A great idea is to build a hatch at your choke and build your sunkens out. Don't bunch them up or anything. If you build your sunkens spaced out the tanks have to siege and unsiege over and over giving you time to tech and outmass him/her.
Defilers: ZvP Ok i've never tried this but it's just an idea. Emp and Plague. You would need a Terran partner but i think it'd be great to bring down a large group of units. Especially against carriers their life would be reduced so low a few hydras could take them.
Queens: Ensnare is great for many reasons. Revealing cloaked units, slowing down units AND the most useful one is how it removes cloned arbs(thanks mac). So i now keep a queen at my main every ZvP. Spawn Broodling is useful too it can take opponents minerals and deadly units like tanks, templars etc. So always mix some queens into your attack.
