Blizzard® Warden System and Third Party Programs
Regarding NcKo's Thread
Let's all go back to NcKo's thread (http://www.starcraftdream.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36883) for a second. It has finally been decided; players who were caught by NcKo using this method will now be flagged and considered hackers. ChaosLauncher has been tested many times (with all plugins) and not once has it given a LOSS to the winning player(s). Luckily, those whose accounts were banned (before this thread was made) from Battle.net will not be flagged due to other factors unrelated to StarCraft (e.g. third party programs for Diablo/WCII). As for those about to complain about falsely receiving a hacker tag, don't even bother. The only third party program (currently) approved by SCD was ChaosLauncher. Other programs that may have received your LOSS, even if not considered a hack, were not approved by SCD. Unless you feel as if you are truly innocent, you may gladly PM me (http://www.starcraftdream.com/forums/private.php?do=newpm&u=3632) or Shocker (http://www.starcraftdream.com/forums/private.php?do=newpm&u=1613) about your situation; please do not make a thread.
Regarding Third Party Programs (Including ChaosLauncher)
Make this a warning. Players are to be aware of programs/plugins they use for StarCraft such as ChaosLauncher. It is recommened that players refuse to use any such third party programs for Battle.net at all (at least for now). Those caught earning LOSS's from winning games, or accounts being banned (as of today) will be flagged as hackers. Remember this; the Warden System CAN be changed at ANY time, meaning if Blizzard wanted to do something about ChaosLauncher, they WILL do so. So again, I suggest you be careful with the third party programs you use, as it may give you a hacker tag. Third party programs are not allowed by Blizzard in the first place.
